Education at Father Pandosy Mission
Bringing local history to life for the next generation.
Father Pandosy Mission is developing new educational programs designed to help students, families, and visitors connect with the stories of the Okanagan’s past.
Our goal is to create meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that go beyond the textbook — allowing visitors to explore historic buildings, discover the people who shaped this community, and understand how the past connects to the present.
Future education programs will explore topics such as:
Early life at the Mission
Historic buildings and artifacts
Agriculture and daily life in the Okanagan
Community stories and local heritage
The connections between different cultures and communities
Programs are being developed for different age groups, from young explorers discovering history for the first time to older students looking deeper into heritage and historical interpretation.
We are currently building our education offerings and look forward to welcoming school groups and learners in the future.
